Probably because we're in the AFC South..
Really didn't expect Blackmon to have off the field issues but I knew he wasn't going to live up to expectations on the field.
He was a big guy when he was in the NCAA so he was able to basically bully the defenses. But now in the NFL he's average so he's not able to physically dominate like he used to. He actually has to use brains and skill now, which I don't think is his strong point.
Blackmon doesn't have elite size and he didn't physically dominate NCAA secondaries. He got great body control and rout running. Good hands too. But size wasn't something that made him an elite college wide receiver
I cant remember the commentator but back in the day, when the Titans were crushing teams with Kearse and company on D, and the O was just as nasty. One of the national commentators (not Solomon who always has the Titans) was impressed be what he saw and said something like 'They just do their own thing down here in Tennessee'
Dang I loved watching those Titans. Too bad fishface would rather win 19-17 with a late FG - lol
man I cant remember how many games came down too the absolute end but only because fishface was worried about scrubbing clock instead of scoring that one more TD that would end the game early in the 4Q
Im thinking he might become gay and stuff for that amount of $s
He had more yards and td's then wright if im not mistaken!
Same amount of receptions though.
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the receptions stat unless you are getting a lot of yards from those receptions. Otherwise it just looks like the team forced you the ball a little too much! Then again Blackmon had more targets than Wright so its w/e I guess.
I agree, just had to stick up for my boy though.
