Kalimba Edwards is in town today

yea i think we need to draft DT, WR, RB, and O-Line first 4 rounds

 

that gives us KVB, Kearse, Fisher, Ford, and Edwards.... someone is the oddman out.... Im thinking Fisher which could be a waste of a 6th rounder

 

or ford, considering he is a seventh round pick with a torn achillies.

 

Most 6th rounders and beyond are a waste anyway. Tom Brady ruins the entire outlook. Jacob Ford...man, I wish he'd be healthy, but apparently isn't looking the part.

 

So does Reynaldo Hill

(Finnegan too).

 

Ford could land on the practice squad if he shows promise but isn't quite ready to earn a roster spot and no way you worry about cutting him in your decisions making. He was a late draft pick that had a serious injury. Anything we get from him at this point is gravy.

Also despite bringing in another DE and maybe even drafting another you have to figure there is always the chance someone gets injured and drops out of the picture.

 

I say sign the Man! And then sign Grady Jackson and Roosavelt Colvin!

With the Freak, Kalimba and Vanden Bosch on the outside, Grady and Big Al clogginging the middle and Thorton, Colvin and Bulluck behind we'd have the best front 7 in the league! Add to that the return of Hope, Griff, Finny and Harper and our Defense goes from 3rd to 1st. Superbowl time baby!

 

Any updates or anything? I'd say this guy could be a real nice pickup, especially considering the Lions dline coach probably isn't on the same level as Washburn as far as motivation and getting the most out of players goes..

 

What's wrong with Crumpler or Scott? Those were two quality offensive signings.
