As far as I know you can give out as many 1st round tenders as you want.

 

they gave barber a first and third round tender, but soxcat is right, you can sign all of your RFAs to first round tenders if you want to.

First rd tenders mean you have to pay them more. Obviously good players are worth it but if you have an average starter and wouldn't mind letting him go for a third rd pick you would tender him at that.

 

Being a Detroit fan (don't knock. Titans showed up late), he doesnt have much help other than Rogers on the line. There's never any penetration, and if there is it comes from the middle from Rogers.
So his production could be greatly different with a different team. Its hard to measure talent on the Lions. Especially when it involves either the O or D line. (qb, rb, ends, corners...ok, everyone. Matt Millen doesn't understand this though)

 

i'm guessing there's something not quite right with Edwards

if all was well, he'd still be a Lion or on some elses roster by now
