Hope he gets healthy and is resigned. Can't ask for much more from a depth player than Klug always gives.

I had my Achilles stepped on and bruised once, WORST pain of my life. Worst than shattering my hand in a helmet bad. Cant imagine how it feels to tear or rupture that thing.

Tough loss, always liked the guy and he makes plays when given the chance. Hope they extend an offer to him and he gets healthy.

Assuming the tendon didn't roll up in the leg, you can either put a cast on it and let it heal on it's own or surgically repair it. The reason you usually opt for surgery these days is that the statistical outcome for a good recovery is a bit better versus no surgery. But I had a friend (not a pro athlete) who did the cast and no surgery 20 years ago and he's fine.

My two stints with this were to have the surgery. The real problem in rehab is how much your lower leg and foot muscles atrophy after you're not allowed to put any weight on them for 3 months. You have no idea how weak they get in such a short period of time. And then the new tendon isn't going to be very powerful either for another three months of intense rehab.
