I think coaching takes two things.

One is you must be a leader of men... Bulluck has that.

Two you must know how to properly convert your knowledge to teachable material... That's the questionable part. He was by far our best LB I the last decade... Can he flip it for us??? Idk... I'm kinda interested in that. I mean at some point munch is going to have to fill these holes and I'm honestly not sure who's going to WANT to come here....

He might be our only hope?

No man to be honest, I havn't. But still, I would really support bringing him in. A winning mentality right now cannot be understated. Also, like i said, I don't think he should be brought in as the LB coach just yet, but rather a defensive assistant.

Lol we are talking about bringing him in as an assistant then possible LB coach - how you jumped to DC is a mystery to me.... Either way, my prediction is we'll tank next season and clean house - so it'd be simply for 'fan pleasure' probably more than anything else... And yes, as an aching fan bringing in one of my favorite players would make me actually much happier going into next season...

We have a former GREAT player as our head coach.. and another one as our offensive line coach.. see how that's working out?!?!?!?

Matthews was one of the best EVER. Better than Bulluck ever was at his position.. and he's a terrible coach..

So basically you want him to be another Keith Millard?

I'd be cool with that I guess.

Offer these young cats some insight. Could be good.

If this move were to be made it would just be the perfect commentary on the current state of this franchise. Firing the coach of our BEST performing unit and then replacing him with a guy with less coaching experience than my 6th grade P.E. teacher.

    You're in 6th grade?

That might explain some things. Hmm.

Just because Bruce and Mike haven't been successful coaches so far, doesn't mean another former player wouldn't. The argument looking at how good Mike and Bruce were and look our they turned out is idiotic. Look at Harbaugh a terrible QB and no one will argue his success so far, how would we ever know if Bulluck is any good until he given a chance. You can't expect every coach to stay in pee wee, move to high school, then to college, than finally make it to the NFL.
