Kevin Dodd has Foot Surgery

Stress fractures result from excessive forces the foot bones can't handle. Dodd isn't getting smaller and the forces are only going to get bigger in the NFL. Maybe some custom orthotics dissipate the force and compensate for his foot function but doubtful. This stress fracture came from college and post college pre-NFL activity.

Titans in quiet mode about Dodd because it was a reach pick and the picks looks even worse now in light of this stress fracture. That's why Titans media wasn't the first to declare the injury. Nobody should expect much from Dodd other than back up play.

Articles say that he got hurt in camp.

 

We don't even know how he got hurt, the extent, when, where, etc....If he pulled the wool over everyones eyes, he did it to 31 other teams....Wasn't that much of a reach. He was a projected first rounder, early 2nd leading up to the draft, whether you are a fan of him or not. Lets see how it shakes out before everyone panics.

Ridiculous. Wasn't a reach, he was great value there. Was considered a first round talent. Reports were Cowboys would have picked him at 34.
