Post Saints Game

Well, we didn't win but we had a good showing early. I was happy with how the first unit offense played. We still have a lot of room for improvement as that will begin today as we resume training camp. Some highlights of the game were a long ball to Drew Bennett by Billy Volek....ball should have been caught, but the Saints defender made a good play. Chris Brown ran the ball well, and despite not having our starting guard in the lineup , we all played solid football. We still have to work on our communication, but it will come. The biggest thrill for the fans was when Vince Young entered the game in the second quarter...plenty of applause for the kid. His first series was a 3 and out, but he showed some flashes of why he was drafted in the first round! He will be a great player....however, he needs to learn how to slide instead of getting hit! He'll last a lot longer! It's back to camp with the Denver Broncos coming up this weekend. God Bless
