Kickoffs may become extinct

I'm not so worried that this insane scenario plays out, but I do think kickoffs will be eliminated... and teams will just get the ball at the 20.

In this scenario, onside kicks could not happen - unless you made some exception.

Either way you look at it... if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Goodell has already changed enough with the kickoffs being moved up from the 30 to the 35. That's enough.

I actually like the new OT rules and the automatic reviews after scoring plays and turnovers...

There are positive changes being made, but this would really make me hate the league.

Wouldn't the logical choice be to ask the players to vote on this?

They're the ones at risk... and I guarantee the overwhelming majority of them would prefer to keep kickoffs in the game.
