Knee braces

Warmack injury initially diagnosed as an MCL sprain. MRI today.

If the diagnoses is correct that's about a six week recovery.

 

So... our Oline will go from awful to god awful.

Just going by memory and not watching him specifically, but I don't think Meredith played too badly yesterday. He made a nice block on the Fowler screen, something Warmack did not do on a McCluster screen.

And lets be honest, that looked a lot worse than a sprained MCL.

 

that was purely a lack of effort. was furious when it happened, if he hadn't stopped running McCluster would have likely been gone.

 

For the most part, those were coverage sacks. Watch downfield and see how many times every receiver was completely covered and it's understandable.
Of course he could have just thrown the ball away, but when you're down by 2-3 TDs ya gotta hang in there and try to make something happen.

After DMC broke that 44 yarder on the right side I though Whis would stay more with the run game. That's what keeps D-Linemen honest, and prevents the firehouse rushes.

But he kept putting MM at risk with the pocket pass plays.
I'd say MM made the best of a really bad situation. But he is a rook, so "the best" isn't going to look like much sometimes.

 

Not true. Merideth isnt that bad.

He held his own at LT with Levitre beside him last year. Im not too sure why he's not the RT over Poutasi, he's noticeably better right now..

We exchanged a sloppy slow Guard for just a slow Guard, its really not much if any of a loss.

At least Merideth gets his hands on you and moves you. All Warmack does is get in the RB's way.
