There is zero doubt that team writers visit fan forums to gauge the feeling of fans and research the top talking points. However, it's a bit of a stretch that team writers wouldn't eventually discuss something like this. We have the first pick and no need for a QB. Bust percentages of Tackles in the 1st round and the fact that no CB/FS has been drafted 1st overall has been discussed at length here, many other forums and well-researched articles. It's by no stretch that PK or Wyatt or Wolf or whoever wouldn't also eventually discuss it.
