Fisher gets his dream gig back out West. Can't say I'm shocked , can't say I care too much and can't say that while Fisher remains at the Franchise they will ever go better than 0.500.

 

Figured this would eventually happen. The NFC West makes sense again.

What really doesn't make sense is the AFC east. Washington, NY, Philly, and DALLAS.

 

That's the NFC east, but yeah I agree. Dallas is weird to be in that, then you have Miami in the AFC east with Jets, Bills, and Pats? Stupid NFL.

Their selections aren't logical at all.. They have more to do with old AFC/NFC rivalries than actual geography.
I guess the AFC south is somewhat logical.. Houston is quite a bit out of the way, though.

I would love to see a true regional conference system.

Titans-Falcons-Panthers-Saints or something would make for a lot of good regional rivalry.

Colts-Bears-KC-Cin would be OK too.

It would be cool if they had a truer Western and Eastern conference.

 

At least Miami is on the east coast...

Is Montana the only state that doesn't touch a state with an NFL team? Besides Hawaii and Alaska?

when NFL went to 8 divisions I predicted the divisions even Seattle moving conferences. All based on every existing division having 1 team that was clearly out of place. As bad as Dallas being in NFCE they did have Arizona also, Indy was in AFCE ect... There are only a few bad ones left and of those probably Dallas is the worst
