Lawrence Taylor was almost a Titan

    In 1990, Alonzo Highsmith to Dallas and Lawrence Taylor to Houston in a three way. Giants getting the pick. Taylor went on to the probowl in 1990. Emmitt ran for 960 yards that year, and Highsmith went for 48 yards. NY Giants would have had the chance to draft, ironically, Emmitt two spots ahead of the cowboys. They ended up drafting Hampton a few picks later. Talk about a history changer.

    Ultimately, Highsmith was traded to the Cowboys, and we got Jeff Alm.

    On another strange note: It looks like Alonzo highsmith (scout for GB) has been Vince Young's biggest supporter in the vince young quote area.
