Can't ride on sidewalks here either. But it does not stop them. Tearing past pedestrians.

Today was the Team Time Trial and was won by Australia's team Orica Greenedge. The victory puts Aussie Simon Gerrans into 1st place overall.

On the down side our hero's and "Black guy's at Le Tour's" team Europcar finished well down finishing 16th in the TTT and losing over a minute to stage winners. That puts our hero's position as follows. Yohann Gene is now sitting at 165th overall 27 minutes and 13 seconds down while teammate Kevin Reza is sitting at 177th overall at 27 minutes and 44 seconds down. So Gunny should be happy.

Stage 5 update of "Black guy's at Le Tour". Today saw one of our hero's get into a early break, Kevin Reza managed to get into a lead group that saw it's lead grow to 12 minutes and 15 seconds before being swallowed up by the peloton a mere 2 miles before the finish. For today's stage Kevin Reza finished in 152nd place but lost no additional time. However, Yohann Gene finished in 192nd place losing an additional 10 minutes and 8 seconds. So after today Aussie Simon Gerrans still is wearing Yellow while our two "black guy's at Le Tour" are as follows...Kevin Reza is sitting at 156th place overall at 27 minutes and 44 seconds back while Yohann Gene is at 179th place now 37 minutes and 21 seconds back.

I pray an aussie doesn't win.

All of a sudden it will be Gunny's new favorite sport.

Cadel Evans has won it before but he is 36, I think, so while he is a "favorite" to win my $$$ is on Chris Froome and or Alberto Contrador. Even bet as far as I am concerned.

Stage 7, "Black guy's at Le Tour" update. Our two hero's lost another big chunk of time today, 14 minutes and 53 seconds with Yohann Gene finishing 159th and Kevin Reza coming home in 161st place. Le Tour leader is South African Daryl Impey with Orica Greenedge

So, after 7 stage our "black guy's" are sitting as follows...Kevin Reza is sitting at 158th place 47 minutes and 55 seconds back while Yohann Gene is in 181st place 57 minutes and 32 seconds back.

After 7 stages the racers have covered 1150 KM's which translates into a little over 714 miles. Saturday's stage is the first real test for the overall contenders, first trip into the mountains...which is where races are won...and lost. Here is the profile of the stage.

Translation....a lot of pain. Great fun.

Now could you find a chart and figure out how far Forrest Gump ran? I'd like to compare the distances/times.
