Lebron didnt try a game winner, it would have tied the game and went to OT and the way the 76ers were shooting anything they were bound to win tonight. The series ends in Miami.

People refer to game-tying shots as game-winners just because game-tyer doesn't sound right.

Still- a clutch shot to save the game.... he hits the top side of the backboard. Wtf?

Lol yea so they won a game. Congrats. Tell me when Kobe decides to show up and win a series against the worst team in the West playing without one of their only two good players.

Hilarious that you take a shot at LeBron in a game where he carried his team. It's like taking a shot at Kobe when he single handedly had the Lakers playing .500 ball in the two years after Shaq left. At least for something other than being the reason that he had to carry them (getting Shaq traded).

    Kobe notes for tonight:

    5-18

shown up by a one man team

almost air balls a wide open 3 with 2 minutes left ( I guess when there is more than 20 seconds left, it doesn't count though, right? )

    turns his ankle guarding air

I didn't even watch the game, though. I'm going to go ahead and assume his 5-18 was his way of shooting his team out of another close game where he could have just passed the ball a little and squeaked out a win. Hell, he probably missed at least 3 of those in the last 5 minutes on contested jumpshots just to show how much of the alpha dog he is. Congrats Lakers on another Kobe special.

Maybe because he bricks closing shots like NO OTHER???

Sorry, he's the worst clutch shooting superstar I've ever seen. Nothing you can say changes that. So what he plays well in early quarters. He blows it every time when the game is on the line. It's guaranteed.

Almost airballs? It hit the rim... from 3 range.

Lebron missed an open floater and didn't even get CLOSE to the rim.

Lebron is expecting a foul when he drives in like that, he doesnt really focus on the shot, he throws it up and hopes for the foul. he needs to take the jumpers and stop driving to the basket, he hasnt had very good luck with that this season.

and how about the Knicks!!!!!!!!! you guys arent talking about them no more :)
