Lendale White injures shoulder at practice?

your absolutely right, Lendale has done nothing but slow the offense down, and on some of those 6 or 7 yard thrashers he gets, CJ could be taking for 11 or 12 yards at least.

Johnson needs to be getting 20-25 carries weekly, with a 5.5 average 16 carries a game isn't cutting it.

 

Lendale is great inside the 20. I'm anxious to see how CJ will produce in limited space. Who would be the backup? Ganther or Henry?

 

I too think this is a good thing. When CJ wasn't getting carries, I felt the team was struggling. We weren't moving the ball, and we weren't scoring for the most part. White has a couple of good runs in him, but CJ has a lot of good runs.

It also helps our deception to have same back in on every play.

My only concern is that CJ will hit a wall at some point, like most college players do, but who knows, those college seasons can be quite long these days.

To me, a good thing in the short term.

 

I don't think Lendale going down is agood thing. He has done his past this far in the offense and losing him would hurt this team. Will we lose because he doesn't play? No I don'tthink so but having him ready to go on the sideline is an advantage.

Plus he does have four touchdowns and against this big defensive front may be better for those tough yards.

 

all from one or 2 yards out...it isn't exactly hard to get to the line of scrimmage and fall forward..CJ could of and probably deserved most of those TD's.

 

all of which have been from 3 yards or closer. i think amarhd hall could replace lendale's production in a pinch if he had to.

 

yes... and that's why our redzone offense was so great last year... b/c LW is so great inside the 20.

Henry is the 3rd back but if LW dresses then Ganther might get active first b/c he plays STs.
