Lendale White injures shoulder at practice?

    Losing Lendale would hurt the team. CJ isn't ready to carry the ball 25 times a game. I'm not sure why anyone would want that. Keep both RB's fresh for the stretch run. CJ is a rookie and he is not used to a 20 game season. He will most likely hit a wall at some point in the season, so the coaching staff is playing it smart. Split the carries between White and Johnson. The running game works because defenses have to adjust the way the play for each RB. White has been very effective at the goal line this year, much more effective than CJ would have been.

    CJ was going nowhere at the start of the Bengals game. Lendale came in and started things back in the right direction

    Exactly. I can't believe some of these 'fans' are saying that our starting RB getting hurt is a good thing. CJ probably won't be nearly as effective without Lendale in there poundin away an punishing the D. And say what you want to about where he started from, 4 TDs in 3 games is production fellas, 2 yard line or not.
