I agree with this assessment.

Since the combine I've heard people talking about Williams' explosiveness. I don't see much explosion. The combine kind of confirmed that. His numbers were impressive for a guy over 300 lbs, but they weren't eye-popping or otherworldly.

He's a technician. Has an arsenal of moves. Uses his hands well. Plays with incredible effort. Makes himself skinny when getting through the line.

Explosive? Not consistently from what I've watched.

 

I don't know guys, the closer we get, I feel like we will take Matiota or an OLB like Fowler etc. Lebeau loves him some 3-4 linebackers, and I just can't see how this team is sold on a 6th round pick coming off of an injury and CBJ.

 

I like Shelton, but closer to 15, not 2. He is HUGE, and has very good feet, which is definitely a good place to start.
