    I'll even go a step further. The offensive captain is MM, DMC takes over as the special teams captain, no need for Lewan.

    Look at the average mindset of NFL players. Many are not above middle school levels of maturity.

    It is important to them. It doesn't mean what it means in hockey, but it is still meaningful. Anything that shows superiority is meaningful to people.

    This team needs a shakeup in just about every way possible. Even a few symbolic gestures can be important. Nobody besides Casey, walker, and a few others have earned anything in the NFL.

    Me too. He's had a really bad year, but I still have a lot of faith in him. Still very young & hasn't had the best support next to him at LG. However, those penalties HAVE to stop. My favorite thing about Lewan is when he has a bad game, he'll admit to it and straight up say that he sucked. Not many players do that, he knows there's room to improve. He'll elevate his game, just give him time.
