why wouldn't Williams be our dc we don't need lil jimmy
THE TRUTH HAS SPOKEN
didn't you say trade reynaud for jim Schwartz lol
IDK man...I like what he did in free agency, but that draft was definitely questionable. Meaning that trade for Justin Hunter was dumb as hell.
We have too many WR's guys...we can't keep all of them. Britt, Nate, Kendall, Damien, Hunter, Preston, Walter. I know Nate is reliable, but there is a reason we tried to trade him. He gets paid quite a bit, he's aging, and we have all those other "reliable" guys on our team, as well. The fact that 2 or 3 of those guys won't make the 53 man squad is CRAZY. We might as well make something happen seeing that we still have some serious needs(LB, CB). It'd be a shame to have all that talent just waste away when we can get something for it.
For the people who think we should trade Damien, Why? He has absolutely no trade value despite being a hell of a receiver. I can imagine the Lions giving us something decent for Nate Wash, and I could see them giving us something really decent for Hunter.
Well it's clear that you're not a very good judge of talent.
Campbell's coverage skills are about as good as Scott Solomon's coverage skills. We need to stop wasting time on the guy. Just because he's 6'3 and can run we think we have our very own Richard Sherman. We don't.
Chris Houston had 7 int's and 110 tackles in the last 2 seasons, and last year he only gave up 3 td's(2 of those to the Falcons WR's).
I assure you. Chris Houston is MUCH better than Tommie Campbell.
Why do people think Britt has trade value without a long term contract? Somebody going to give up something for a year of service?
The Rams traded a 6th rd pick to get Brandon Lloyd for a season. I would rather have Britt on the field for our team than to just get a 5th or 6th rd pick.
What is so hard about this? Walter won't make the team and Preston will be on the practice squad. If somebody wants to give us a 6th rd pick for D-will then do it.
You said there is a reason we tried to trade Nate, yes but there is also a reason we did not make a trade. Nobody made an attractive offer.
I'm at the point now that I wouldn't get rid of Nate even if we got a good deal on him. His 4 mil contract is actually reasonable for a guy who very well could be a 70 catch 1000 yd WR this year and we may need him next year more than this year if Britt and DWill are gone. He is Locker's version of Mac's DMase or the closest thing to it.
And I don't think we can hide Preston on the PS and in reality we have two years invested in the guy and should have him on the roster. He will be a nice guy to have next year and beyond as well.
Anything we get out of Hunter this year is gravy.
Winfield? For Oprah's sake bro, how old is that guy now?
