I call for mis-use of the word irony to be banned from real NFL discussions.

Just joking, but seriously... that's not what irony is. The word you are looking for is "coincidence."

Irony is when the real outcome is the opposite of the expected outcome. So no it doesn't really fit. Don't worry Alanis Morriset (sp?) got it wrong and she still made millions.

 

No ... he was upset he got dropped to the #3 CB after the Samuals thing. He wants out because he does not think he will start. I am not exactly sure why I have always thought he was a solid CB but Phili is having undisclosed issues with him.

With that said i would still love him on this team. No way he asks for Samuals money. He is looking at not starting in Phili right now.

He is seeking a trade, but he wants to be paid like Samuel, and justifiably so considering his talent compared to Samuel's and Clements's. That's in the neighborhood of $10 million a year. You mentioned that he wants a new deal, yet in a previous post you said his current contract could be sustained with a $10 million bonus. Not going to happen. I think he's too smart to go after a contract backloaded with large roster bonuses as well.
