Why'd we not hear of this shoulder issue being "lingering" until he went out Sunday?

Fact is- he seems to go to the sidelines every game he plays in.

Not looking tough in the least thus-far in his career.

There's no way you separate your shoulder week-1 and don't have issues week-4. Takes 3-4 weeks of no contact for that type of thing to heal.

And you really expect a team to come out and scream "my QB's left shoulder is hurt, come get him"??

Oh. So other teams don't have the same logic when it comes to sports injuries as random guys on message boards?

lol Surely they'd know it takes 3-4 weeks, right?

It hasn't been talked about. It's an excuse, basically.

Deuce, go smack your shoulder against the wall, let me know how you feel in a week.

If you wanna say he's injury prone, I'm fine with that. But I don't think it's fair to question his toughness at this point. There's a big difference.

I don't know many QBs that are going back into the game after separating a shoulder, throwing arm or not.

I'll probably feel as tough as Jake Locker as I sit down and rest.

    :D

And yeah, more the case of being injury prone. Though he has left the game before due to smaller injuries.

Every time he's left a game he's taken a big shot, not like he's banging his hand or spraining his ankle, he's getting knocked around. Blame Dave Stewart

Not being tough and being injury prone aren't the same thing. I have concerns about Locker getting injured too often but don't question his toughness at all. Part of his problem with injury is he will do whatever needs to be done including running through a concrete wall if needed.

Why isn't anyone jumping on Cook? He hurt his shoulder too and came out of the game last week, and barely played this week.
