    Are all separated shoulders the same?
    No. Separated shoulders are graded according to the severity of the injury and the position of the displaced bones. Shoulder separations are graded from type I to VI:

    Like I said depending on what degree he separated the shoulder depends on how bad the pain is. And that is all that comes with a separated shoulder!

    I find it funny that you criticize him for being unable to play with a injured shoulder when that's exactly what he did that led to the same injury a second time.

    Also the average healing time after this kind of surgery is 4-6 weeks. I had two pins put in my shoulder and had them removed 5 weeks later!

    If he doesn't risk further damage, then I have no doubt he'll want to be on the field but he stunk against the Chargers. If it impacts his abilities to the point he's not the best option, why would we want him playing?
