According to Mike Pereira, Locker's long run was a penalty. Check the video here of him talking about it. He says with the new rule change, that the flag stays. As for the run and the chop block 'call' itself (I'm sure you can watch it somewhere, YouTube or something), I opened it up on GamePass to see who got the flag (thought it would be Turner), but in fact it was CJ. I watched the play several times and what he did just didn't look like a chop block. He was in front of the defender and went with his shoulder into his waist (or that's what I saw). I know he got a bit of leg, but does that make it a chop block? I'm sure I've seen CJ hit that block many times and never a flag is called.... Can someone watch it and tell me, is that bit of leg contact really make it a chop block?
