Titans quarterback Jake Locker took another step forward in his rehabilitation on Wednesday when he participated in 11-on-11 drills during practice.

Locker had previously only taken part in seven-on-seven passing drills.

Titans coach Mike Munchak praised Locker’s effort, but said there’s no chance he’ll play Sunday against Chicago.

“He did very well,” Munchak said. “It looked like he was prepared for it as far as (moving around) the pocket. Like we’ve said, he’s moving forward in a really positive way.”

Locker’s next step will be when he’s cleared for contact.

“The only thing left now is to get hit,” Munchak said. “If he gets through this week without any problems and any setbacks, then that’s kind of where we’re getting. But he’s healing well and we’ll see how it goes.”

The Titans face Miami the week after the Chicago contest and then have a bye. So it’s possible the Titans would let Locker heal until the Jacksonville game on Nov. 25.

Well this seems like a slight confirmation that we will get him back after the bye week.

No excuses for a fractured shoulder. That's why he has two of them, he should play until one of them falls off due to gangrene according to SOME of our informed football messageboard friends.

Ed Reed says fractured shoulder > torn labia. Gabbert and Griffin are used to it by now.

    Locker>Gabbert.

Also, his niece and/or bag of wet hair >>> Gabbert.

Then why are their rumors that the Jags are interested in a trade to land Tebow? [IMG]
