    This is the year that Jake has to prove he is the man. It is all on him. He has to stay healthy. No excuses about talent around him because franchise QBs make the talent around them better.

    I'm leaving CJ completely out of it. Until your comment it seemed like most of the posters in this topic were all too ready to give Locker a total pass on everything.

    Ability wise he is at the same point McNair was going into his fourth season. And McNair had a much stronger supporting cast. As strong OL, Frank Wycheck and one of the best run games in the NFL.

    Man it's kinda funny how Jake gets a pass, and all of his reasons for him sucking is everyone else's fault?? It's
    ridiculous. No one has answered what makes Jake locker a franchise Qb.

    Well I want Murray more than anything, but lets say Murray isn't here......


    Just a few months ago, Bridgewater was regarded as the best QB prospect and likely #1 pick. He has no character flaws, the tape and level of competition was there......

    I think you have to take him, when the combine rolls around you have to be careful with the reports that come out. Everyone thought this guy was a franchise QB based off game tape and that trumps all.
