I love Jake's demeanor, he seems like the type who will do anything to win pretty or not....Which at this point is exactly what this team needs after Vince (Whom I was/am still a fan of).

  2. Defense is NEVER a bigger need when you don't have a QB...

Defense would have been in even bigger need with Rusty at QB.

Bingo. QB is the most important position, everyone knows that.

Between the two I would have taken Gabbert and that is what I voted in the poll. I am not really sold on either though.

I was secretly wanting Gabbert, and I was stunned when I thought the Titans "reached" for Locker. But after sleeping on it a night and listening to Munch on M&M this morning (and my seven year old giving him his stamp of approval) I've come to accept the decision on the Locker pick. Good or bad, we have to roll with it.

For a while it was Vince Young vs Matt Leinart, now Jake Locker vs Blaine Gabbert.

I actually am because if we weren't gonna go for Fairley then Locker is a great pick
    1) He is and will be the best QB in this draft, Cam Newton is VY with less talent
    2) People forget he was the consensus #1 pick had he come out last year
    3) Everyone says he's inaccurate. Washington had Jake Locker, Chris Polk and that's about it, not one receiver could beat press coverage in the Pac Ten. Newton would have been an afterthought if he had played for Washington. Completing 55% of his passes with those receivers and lack of talent around him is actually very good.

Blaine Gabbert was the best pick of the draft! Now no matter what we are guaranteed to be better than Jacksonville for the next 5 years.
