Locker will be a better qb than Manning one day

You do realize Ben ges sacked WAY more than basically anyone else specifically because he holds the ball too long trying to "move around in the pockett."

You are a huge homer if you think Locker is going to be better than arguably the greatest QB in history, which Manning is considered by many people to be. Sure it's certainly plausible. I mean as hyped as Peyton was coming out of college, I'm sure not many people expected he would be this good. Shattering numerous NFL records along the way. But expecting anyone to be better than Peyton Manning is simply setting yourself up to be disappointed.

Just be glad he didn't pick the Cowboys.

I've seen him play many games at a high level. But honestly, give any QB enough playoff games, and their stats will likely not be "great." Brady has had some pretty awful games in the playoffs recently as well, even though he has won some of them, he's still played quite awful in some of those games. That's simply what happens when you play the top teams (often the top defenses) in the league enough times.

"Clutch" is a nice idea that we as fans have created. And it's funny that we as fans are the ones who decide who has the special gene or not. But in general, players tend to play up to their abilities regardless of the situation. But many simply don't get enough "clutch" opportunities to remove the label of "choker."

Take Derek Jeter for example. He has been labeled one of the most "clutch" players of all time. But when you compare his "clutch" stats to his regular season stats, there really isn't a difference. He's no more clutch than he simply is a good overall player.
