Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said Monday he expected quarterback Jake Locker to bounce back from a poor practice on Sunday night that included three interceptions.

Loggains said he put the quarterback in tough situations, and the rest of the offense failed to bail him out.

“I feel good about where Jake has been. Obviously the offense didn’t have a very good night, including myself,’’ Loggains said. “We need to improve on that, and it is going to be big on how you bounce back the next couple of days and continue to progress forward.”

The Titans hit the practice field at 3 p.m. on Monday.

Locker, who played roughly 25 snaps against the Redskins, is expected to play longer on Saturday against the Bengals. Loggains said Locker has been good at bouncing back from poor performances.

“It’s been good to this point,” he said. “There was a span last week where we had three or four really good practices in a row, hit some bumps in the road as an offense, and bounced back.”

If he keeps playing this bad, the only things that will bounce are the checks he is writing for diapers.
