I think it's safe to say that Vince has grown as a player. It's unfortunate that the Titans couldn't be a beneficiary of that. With that said, Vince's problems in Tennessee began and ended with Vince. This notion that Fisher was the problem (not that anyone is saying that in this thread) is garbage. Now Fisher had his own issues but they were separate from that of Vince Young. I don't think Vince could have experienced this apparent growth in Tennessee though and that's on Vince.

Do you just google 'Jeff Fisher' every day or something? Or are these articles popping up during your search for gay-mustachio porn?

I don't think Vince has changed at all since last season. Fisher never let Vince off the leash like Reid has done. And the results are clearly showing he can put up the numbers.

Fisher NEVER wanted Vince, he approached the situation like a whining spoiled girl who didn't get what she wanted for her birthday.

VY handled the situation terribly as well, but any half decent coach would have made this work.

Yeah. Because Fisher and Young's relationship was so bad before Young quit on the team in 2008. I mean all you heard about was a how Fisher was benching Young as he played pathetically throughout the 2007 season.

Oh wait. This whole thing WAS started because Young quit on the team in Jacksonville in 2008 and completely destroyed Fishers faith in Young. My bad.

What faith did Fisher EVER have in Young???

It wasn't even his idea to start him his rookie season. Adams had to force his hand then, just like he had to force his hand after the 0-6 start.

Young was as immature as they come, but to let Fisher go scott free is ridiculous, he's a joke of a coach.

Fisher was the bigger issue. Whatever chance VY had to succeed as a Titan Fisher took away. It was Fishers ego and refusal to change with the NFL that cost the team. Fisher should have done exactly what Mack Brown and the Longhorns did... Let VY be VY. But to try and make him into something he isnt was stupid. Fisher was pissed because he didnt want VY and he made sure it failed. It cost the Team, the Fans, VY and Jeff Fisher.
