What was with LT and his "attempt" during the AFC title game. Reminded me of the lame Nancy Thigpen during our SB run. You would think you would give it everything for a chance at the ring. The more I see of the guy the more I think world class whinner. I mean, at least Phillip "da mouth" Rivers gave it everything he had, even had surgery during the week to be able to play by my understanding, and Gates surely was in a lot of pain if eddie george is to believed and he still suited up and helped his team as much as he could. Didn't have a lot of respect after his whinning after the title game last season and now this.

It's been said that LT is not happy in SD. He doesn't like Norv Turner and thought Schottenheimer shouldn't have been fired.
Peter King reported LT called Schottenheimer, when the team was struggling early in the season, for advice.

Some people want Turner, but SD might be content to keep Turner and deal LT if he is a distraction.

San Diego will definitely not be trading LT. That's just crazy.

That said, I think LT is a lot closer to a TO-type personality than most people realize. He seems to be turning into quite the sulker/whiner.

We all saw when he refused to sit next to Rivers. Now we see that he takes himself out of the biggest game of his life because he has a slightly strained ligament in his knee and it was too much of an "owie" for him to tough it out (nevermind that fact that his QB had surgery where they removed his entire ligament just so he could play in the game). Also, let's not forget the whole crying because the Patriots won last season and calling Belichick "classless" (and then trying to take it all back).

LT is becoming a prima donna.

From interviews yesterday, his injury has a four week recovery and he was trying to go in one. He gave it a shot and he didn't think he would be as effective as Turner/Sproles.

If he didn't feel he could play better than those guys, I admire him for setting his ego aside for the good of the team. I often wondered on days McNair was out all week with injury whether he gave the Titans the best chance of winning.

Yeah, you have to remember that he wasn't giving the duties to some scrub who barely earned a roster spot, Turner and Sproles are both solid RBs and could probably start for a lot of teams in the league.

I'd love to have a "little" bit of sproles returning kicks for us...
I seriously wonder if we will go after Turner though.

Guys it's an injury that none of us know how it feels. He tried to give it a go and felt he couldn't be effective. If a guy tries to give it a go and he feels he can't be as effective then you shouldn't be bashing him.
