M. Hoge on espnews...

    I don't know if anyone saw Merrill on ESPNEWS. But he was peppered by the other two announcers about Vince. They both brought up Hoge's negative comments directed toward Vince. Hoge still wouldn't admit Vince is playing well. He would only say the Titans are playing well as a team and basically gave all the credit to the Titans Defense. You can tell Hoge is getting nervous. Would not get Vince an ounce of credit.

    yeah I just saw it, he keeps saying we are hinding VY, and he can't do nothing well at the NFL level except run, and he said he will get hurt doing that and said also said VY is a bad QB- I can't stand him, now he's just making stuff up, and poor people who have never seen VY play a lot will believe, most fans though know Hoge is an idiot...

    Everytime Vince goes out and proves the critics wrong, he has to come up with more outrageous statements. He should just give it up.

    The part that pissed me off the most was that he said Young will not be a QB that is good enough to lead his team to the playoffs, untill he learns how to read coverages.

    Is this guy dumb? He's 5-4 as a starter, If Kerry Collins hadn't screwed up our season, we'd be right in the playoff picture. He IS good enough to lead us to the playoffs right now..... Merrill loves McNair, but theres no way we'd be 5-7 right now with McNair at the helm.

    Or how about his statement that he's not asked to throw deep a whole lot "because he can't read coverages". For one, Young has thrown plenty of deep balls, some good, some bad, but only an ESPN "expert" wouldn't know that the deep ball isn't the mainstay of the Titans offence since Dinger left.

    They should tatoo a 'W' on each of his buttocks & make him drops his pants & bend over so his butt spells WOW every time they show Titans highlights

    It aint going to come from his mouth
