  1. one thing that i love about LT is that he is a complete team player, after he scored that touchdown just like all his others he gets his offense over there and chest bumps high fives and whatnot, but he does it with his whole team and doesnt single himself out, and that is one reason that i think he is one of the best people this could happen to

No way in hell LT doesn't get MVP. The man set the TD record in THIRTEEN games, and his team is the best in the NFL right now. He could EASILY (with the way he's been playing) finish with 34-35 TDs total.

Wait, there's other players on the Chargers? :))

Seriously though, if you count passing TDs, Tomlinson has 32 total on the season with 3 games to play. That's just insane. He's hands down the MVP this year.

3 more miracles, and Young could overcome.

I Think he will win,but really is he the M.V.P??

Michael "the burner" Turner, has done an exceptional job when he is in there, and I believe the Chargers would still be a playoff team with him as the starting RB...

However, the Saints w.o Drew Brees, would probably be one of the worst teams in the league. The guy is truley the most valuable player to his team this year all throughout the year.

Is the touchdown record truley that great these days?I believe in the last 4 years it has been broken each year starting with what Priest Holmes, then Alexander, and now L.T...It seems like it could be broken every year if needed. However it is a great feat, and LT is truley a dominate player in this league, and one of the most exciting. Also alot of this was suppose to happen for LT and was predicted to happen, but noone had Drew Brees and the Saints having this type of year, being one of the best in the NFC,and tearing apart that dominante Cowboys D...lol...

I think LT will win it because who he is,what positions he plays, and the highlights he has..

but that shouldnt take away from Brees' success at all, because he has truley been the most valuable player all year long.

Brees is right there. but L.T. has a better record too. I'd edge L.T. but still 3 more to go. The record is like tie breaker right now.

I don't think it should take anything away from LT just because the chargers have a great backup RB. Turner doesn't help them win games. He's done a few things this year, but in trash time. When it comes down to it, LT is the man they go to, the reason they win games.

I think Brees deserves some kind of award, the guy has had a great season, and has done all the right things. Is he eligible for comeback player of the year, since he got injured and ditched by his team?
