Great move IMO. He's got a superstar big man that he can build around. Some talent is already there, some is still needed. They'll definitely look to land Carter this offseason.

A ton of money and a pretty good team to work with. No brainer.

  4. Plus, all the proven players left Florida for the draft, so Florida wasn't going to be a contender. His stock was never going to get any higher than it is now.

On the other hand, the name Lon Kruger comes to mind...

He should have gone to Kentucky. College coaches in the NBA dont tend to work very well.

It's good for his wallet maybe not so much his career.

Why would he go to Kentucky is that a joke or something he turned Florida into a powerhouse and back to back champs why would he go to Kentucky?

Would you leave your team after two titles in 2 years to go to Kentucky honestly I'm sorry that comment just baffles me.

Why would he go to Kentucky? Do you know anything about the history of Kentucky basketball? He was Kentucky's top choice when they were hiring, and I guarantee you he turned down the job because he wanted to go to the NBA. There is no way he turned down Kentucky to stay at Florida. No matter what you do at Florida you are always going to be second behind football.
