    Well I would assume most contracts have clauses about playoff wins and the like, since Peyton has perfected the art of choking in the playoffs they don't have to pay him extra. :ha:

    Did anyone hear the rest of the Manning's comments? I'm not sure if it was at the same time as the protection stuff, but I also heard him talk about how he plays every season like it's his last etc etc but the comment I really liked NOT was that there are so many games --- lets see 4 + 16 + 1, that's 21 in a year. He sat out parts of at least 5 or 6 and shouldn't have been there yesterday. That's as many as most baseball players play in a month.... poor baby.

    All of this egg on Peyton's face sure makes me feel better about his offhanded Mcnair remarks in the offseason. I wonder if he would like to try "putting on a brace and limping around". Maybe he could win an AFC championship.
    Glory be, this is a wonderful week. I thought I was going to have to see the colts proclaimed the greatest team in history or some other crap. This takes some of the stink off this NFL season for me.

    I was ready to give up football for the season, but now I can hardly wait for Sunday's games. No Manning, no Dingy, no Colts!!! What could be better than that??? I know Titans playing the Broncos.
