ESPN has made me hate them even more this weekend. The sports network that ignores boxing has the nerve to cry when Manny Pacquiao was robbed? Saying things like "the sport no longer warrants our attention." Why? Because it was Manny Pacquiao? Anyone that watched the 3 Pacquiao/Juan Manuel Marquez fights knows that Manny Pacquiao lost at least 2 of those 3 fights, yet judges gave it to him just because of his status. Where was ESPN then? Where was the uproar? No one cares when it's their favorite that the match is rigged for. Only when he loses? Manny Pacquiao hasn't been impressive since... I can't even remember the last time. Does the sport have a major problem? Yes. Should THIS example be what strikes the match? No. Unless you use the Marquez fights also. This is what happens when casual (if that) boxing fans chime in. Pretending to be fans teetering on leaving.
ufc-sec-ufc! Manny led in almost every statistical category the entire fight. I don't pretend to be a boxing expert though, because I don't like watching rigged sports. You boxing fans should watch some wrestling. They.. have a lot in common.
I saw the entire fight on accident... went to b dubs Saturday night, not knowing about the fight. I've never seen it so packed. I also wasn't aware they would show something on PPV. Not a big fan of people beating the hell out of each other for no good reason.
No good reason? I'd beat or get beaten for millions any day of the week. And UFC sucks. If i were in to gay porn, I'd just watch online.
Yea I know... I wasn't talking about the money though. Usually when there's a fight, it's because there's a prior conflict between the two.
This was the ONE fight in years I opted out on. Knew it would end somthing like this. Not even mad I missed it. Saved $60 and no mess to clean up after Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
I would not hate the UFC so much if it weren't for its meathead fans. My sister's husband is one of those guys. You know, the "Affliction" T shirt afficianados. I shall dub thee Afflictionados.
