So Randell has gone from QB, to S to LB?

You know, Marcus could be very close to 230 with the additional muscle. He would be about D'Qwell Jackson's weight.

True, but I doubt he has much choice. If released, I don't think anyone would be knocking his door down.

I haven't looked at the article again since yesterday, but it seemed strange and a little contradictory. They mentioned the reps, but I think Fisher said he still expected him to get the most time at safety.

I think Randall will be one of those special team stars this season.

Didn't Randall QB for LSU behind Mauck? I bet they ahve some interesting conversations.

I've never seen the Titans/Oilers do this, but with Sirmon probably gone -hasta la bye bye- and no experienced MLB...what do y'all think of a Calmus return for the legue minimum. I doubt it would happen...just wondering???

    Say goodbye to randall...

If he is being worked at OLB it likely indicates they decided he won't make the team as safety. How many former QBs make it as defensive players in the nfl anyway? Very rare.

I can't see him making the team as a linebacker. They at least tried to find a place for him.

  9. I think Randall will be a decent ST player but not anymore than that, it would be very unlikely if he would make the team as a backup linebacker.

As for Calmus coming back, I don't think so.......

Fisher said he's around 230 now. Maybe he gets around Jackson's weight, but that's still not much for comparison.
