Brilliant. Even if the vendor does not make money on the weed they should see an increase in junk food sales.

One day we be free in the south.

Right after all of the racist and religious wang riders go extinct.

Then... Maybe we will get weed legalized.

Right now locking up poor black people is just way to convenient and profitable for the proud states of the SEC.

Alabama finally legalized home brewing in the year 2013 so I'm not holding my breath. Follow the money trails.

These are the idiots running this state.

****ing morons, I hate them all.

Ole Miss has a little weed farm, so legalization in the south could happen.

They grow it for the government for research purposes. You know hypocrisy, my tax dollars fund the government growing acres of marijuana but I grow one plant in my closet, I'm suddenly a felon and a danger to society.

The government can swallow cock on the marijuana issue. They are losing this battle faster than any other before it.

Obama is the biggest piece of **** of all when it comes to this issue. He could fix it with just one stroke of his pen but refuses to do so. He knowingly smoked pot and did other drugs yet he allows young people across the country to be thrown in jail everyday for using a substance that is less harmful than alcohol. If he would have been caught smoking the weed he loved so much, he would have never been president.

Obama let's his justice department pursue medical marijuana distributors in states that have listened to the people and legalized it. Gigantic red flag.

Can't imagine why... Follow the money.

There are many, many things I love about living in the south. So I'm willing to wait a reasonable amount of time for us to catch up to the rest of the country with things like this. But at a certain point I'll have no second-thoughts about moving to a more progressive state. I'm slightly optimistic that we'll come around on some of these issues sooner rather than later. But admittedly I may be a fool for thinking that.

Did you see Penn Jillette's rant about Obama/marijuana? I think I saw it here so you may have even been the one to post it. Anyway, it was classic and 100% valid. Would love to see Obama try to respond to it.

I never realized how bad it was until I started working for the state (Alabama) and met some of these people. Our state representatives, county and city officials are some of the most crooked, ignorant, uncaring and racist people I have ever interacted with and they run the state of Alabama.

The old southern "Dixiecrat" is alive and well in Alabama. They might not call themselves that but when you here the words coming out of their mouths you quickly realize you are dealing with an ideology that surely stopped existing in the 60's...

The black politicians (democrat) all went to the political school of Jesse Jackson because the racism that flows from their mouths is so thick it hurts to breath in the same room as them.

I've sat in a large conference room with city officials, lawyers, the general public and politicians where I was about one of three white people in there and listened to these people tell us that the "powerful white man in Alabama is holding them back and the old south is alive and well in Montgomery".

That is a direct quote. They spew **** like that while supporting legislation and actions that further destroy their communities.

    I hate this state.

People don't realize how bad it is here.

Dude, it's Alabama. Everyone knows it sucks harder than Lindsay Lohan at 2am.

I know how bad it is and my only experience in the state is from driving straight through it on my way to Florida. I've stopped at gas stations along the way - in Montgomery. What a horrible place. Guy with no shirt on came up to my car begging for money at the gas station. We had the windows down and he reached in the car to tap my friend on the shoulder. lol

Also, driving through Opp on the way to Destin is just awful. That sh*t city has the worst smell I've ever encountered. Pure sh*t. I'd definitely kill myself before I had to live there.

The thing I noticed the most was as soon as I crossed into the Alabama state line, it just reeked of something dead... and continued to smell all the way through the state.

I also stopped at a 24 hour IHOP somewhere in Alabama. We were literally the only ones in there and we were 90% sure we were about to be murdered, slaughtered, and sold as food on the menus. It was pretty scary.

    F*ck Alabama.
