Whats with all the hateing on Babs? In 2011 he lead our team in tackles and had a solid year. He had a new secondary coach this year and was part of a whole GROUP of safteys that didnt perform well. Dont act like it was all on him! Wasnt he a pro bowler in seattle? So that means 2 pro bowl safteys sh-t the bed in the same year just because? Come on, give the guy a break and start complaining about Brett Maxie (who sucked at the Cowboys before us) and Jerry Grey!

Worse than Griffin, Rojo or Afalava (who I actually thought played decent against the run)? Come on!

I posted the link to my personal favorite draft site:

The best draft site of all:

    http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=83609&draftyear=2012&genpos=FS

Markelle was projected as a 4th rounder. We got him in the 6th. That's solid value, and it was due to an injury that most teams knew he would be out the entire year.

    Read the breakdown of Markelle:

He's got his pros/cons that's for sure. But he's not a complete bust, yet. He deserves a shot if Griffin continues to suck.

Now he is a 3rd round player? Earlier he wasnt worth anything near a 3rd talent? So your saying that you have a better view on college players than every draft analysis site there is? Most of them say he is a great tackler and good ball skills. Not many int but 11 deflected passes. He was the best player on a very good D. The kid can play and will be a player for us next yr

Yes, I'm saying that. I don't know if you're new to draft sites, but most of them just regurgitate the same opinions from 1 major source. This source usually being inaccurate. Notice they all pretty much say the exact same thing. Anyone that can copy+paste can run a reputable draft site.

I'm saying he wasn't worth anything under 3rd round-- not that I'd take him in that.

I have no real round-value on him personally just because I know he's a non-factor. He wont ever do anything in the NFL, and never had much of a shot to- injury or not. So personally, I'd say he wasn't worth drafting at all.

The reason they say he's a "great tackler" is because he made like 3 big bits. All blindside hits. He sucks at squaring players up if they're looking at him. His form is awful. The "bend over, close your eyes and hope you get something" model.

Just warning you. If you're expecting anything at all, you're expecting too much.
