Free agency is nearly two weeks old, and defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks still doesn’t have a home for 2013.

Right now, a return to the Titans seems unlikely, especially after they signed former Lions defensive tackle Sammie Hill.

Agent Hadley Engelhard said he’s received plenty of interest in Marks, however, and they are currently weighing his options.

“We’re entertaining offers from other teams, long and short term,” Engelhard said.

Marks started 14 games and made 63 tackles last season. He’s played in 51 games (26 starts) since the Titans drafted him in 2009.

“During our last conversation with Tennessee, they did not have any interest in doing a short-term deal with Sen’Derrick,’’ Engelhard said. “Right now they say they’re not in a position to offer a short term deal for Sen’Derrick.”

His agent is lying, no one has offered him anything.

I doubt it. Marks had a decent year last year, he'll get a deal somewhere.

I bet he will.. for small money somewhere. He got a kick to the groin when he realized that he wasn't a hot commodity though, I'm sure.

    He's an undersized backup DT.

A 6'2 295 3-tech, that's 26, and ex 2nd rounder, who had 41 tkls and 1.5 sacks in 14 games will get picked up. Won't be for much tho, likely a 1 or 2 year deal at 1 or 2 mil max. You can draft a DT in the 3rd-4th and get the same stats for cheaper and will have more potential.

SenDerrick Marks should have been a 5th round pick, but Fisher thought he could penetrate so we stupidly reach for him in the 2nd, thank God that man is gone

An undersized DT who generates zero pass rush has a hard time finding a home in football. I'm not suprised. He's good for making tackles 4, 5, 6 yards past the line of scrimmage where he was pushed back.
