Since when is the Rose Bowl a meaningless game?

 

Since the days you realize that only ONE bowl game matters. And only 2 teams get there. Crappy little "runner up" bowls are useless.

 

I agree with Gloat on that. BUT I wouldn't call the Rose Bowl meaningless.

 

Eh. I just don't see a difference between 3rd place and last.

 

How many people realize we are actually first in total offense per game this preseason? Seems ironic then that all our complaining about our offense. We are also 1st in rushing and 5th in scoring.

I'm far more concerned about our defense staying healthy and playing well then our offense.

As for vince there are not any more excuses.
3rd season, 27 starts under his belt.
We bring in dinger
Crumpler
Draft a RB in rd 1 and
TE in rd 3.

We also signed our 2 OTs and signed FA scott. '

Vince has to make decent improvements or else we would be justified in thinking he will never be a good nfl passer..

 

Of course, those improvments are not numbers on a paper. VY cannot catch his own passes, so we have to expect that he will some luster on his numbers because of the crappy WRs we have. But, I do expect him to be much better this year.

 

Sounds just like a little Wolvie who can't stand the fact that Michigan is 8-12 in the Rose Bowl and 6 of those losses coming from the mighty Trojans!

 

Take a look at Manning's first three years in the league. I don't think VY could come close to any of those years in his best year. But I admire your optimism.
