    This is my fear as well. Its like yes I know we need a QB..but that doesn't mean we should just reach for whatever is available. I think long term we would be doing our franchise more harm than good by picking up one of these guys in the 1st round

    Barring a big day from him, I'd rather pass and see if he slides out of the first. Give me Ponder in the 3rd over Locker at 8. If Locker is there in the 2nd, or the back end of the 1st where we can trade back in, then maybe, but not at 8.
