McCown out; maybe Browns go QB in the draft?

I wouldn't mind us taking a peek at McCown as a possible upgrade over Cassel.

Lateral move to me. McCown, Cassel, Hoyer, etc. all of them are fine for a backup position that shouldn't necessarily be starting. I think we're pretty much F'd if Mariota goes down.

 

I'd rather not see the Browns go QB with #1 overall. It would be ideal to see the 49ers and the Bears go QB. That could entice the Browns to move up to 5 from 12 to get in front of the Jets and take one of the top 3 QBs. Doubt that scenario happens, but I still don't see any chance of the browns trading up if they've already taken a QB.

 

Talking on the radio about how the Browns might be trigger shy drafting QBs high... might go FA.

 

I can see the Browns going after McCarron if they can't land Jimmy G

Garrett at 1 and Corey Davis at 12 then

 

McCown said he wants Cleveland to pursue Jimmy

That's pretty unusual for a QB to want another QB
