billick doesnt know how to use mcnair thats y they lost that game in the playoffs. he never let mcnair play his game, all they called were dump offs to the fb. i blame billick and id like to see him back as a backup to vince someday but i dont see it happing. i hope he comes back and retires as a titan tho.

Dump-offs ARE mcnair's game. He can't throw the ball beyond 10 yards anymore. That's why they throw more and longer when Boller comes in the game.

What we saw in McNair in that playoff game was what he gave us on a consistent basis towards the end of his career here as a Titan, a 7 yard pass when he needs 10 yards on third down.

So are you saying that Steve McNair is physically incapable of throwing the ball beyond ten yards?

He kinda got shut out by the team, Idk if you guys remember, but when he was told he couldn't work out in the Titans facilities, Floyd Reese and Jeff Fisher were meeting with Matt Leinart. What better way to tell a guy you don't need him any more than to have someone tell him he can't come in the building while your meeting with his possible replacement?
