McNair, George and Wycheck Added to Ring of Honor

    SUMMARY: In Monday night's matchup between the Colts and Titans, the team plans to add three former stars to the team's "Ring of Honor" at halftime. Steve McNair, Eddie George and Frank Wycheck will be honored during the ceremony at LP Field. McNair threw for 27,141 yards while playing with the Titans from 1995-2005. He holds the franchise record for wins (81) by a QB. George holds the franchise record for career rushing yards (10,009) and touchdowns (74), while playing from 1996-2003. Wycheck led the team in receptions for five straight seasons and is third on the all-time list with 482. He played with the franchise from 1995-2003.

    I think we are feeling those good times now that's for sure and there are several players on this team who might some day see their name honored after they retire.

    This would be a great opportunity for Eddie George to announce his retirement. I guess he's still hanging on to the dream though.

    He was on the radio this morning with Wycheck and said something to the effect that he now felt his football was complete as he never got to call a press conference like Wycheck did. Guess we can wait to see if he files those retirement papers.
