The Wheel of Time is still worth reading Bobo. The first 8 books are as action packed as fantasy can get.

LOTR is a childrens book that can be appreciated by adults as well. IMO taken on face value it's ok but not great. Then given that it was written in the 40's & could be considered the series that spawned all subsequent fantasy it has to be permanently in the top 10 no matter what else ever gets written.

It was way ahead of it's time & at it's peak was outselling the bible in worldwide sales. The job Peter Jackson did was really special & it was great to see books given as much justice as he & the studio gave them.

 

Black Pudding. A savory sausage type of food. It is made with pigs blood. It sounds absolutely disgusting but eaten with mustard they are wonderful.
