3-4 years is the majority of the average NFl career. He will get his chances in TN. Almost no QB stays healthy for 2-3 years straight.. especially not running ones.

He likely will spend his career watching others play here or somewhere else.

    and Aaron Murray > Mettenberger

his college career means 100000000x less than him leading the preseason in pass yards and pacing 4000 yards as a rookie on the worst team tennessee has ever seen.....but cling to his college career.....and ya go ahead say garbage time...cuz as @JCBRAVE pointed out he led the 5 best ypa. garbage time defenses are built to give short passes and take away the long passes....yet somehow he hed the 5 best ypa. damn thats even more impressive thinking about it now....

mett will be a starter, here or elsewhere, deal with it. only way he wont be for long is injuries. best case scenario for us mariota lights the world on fire mett looks great in the next preseason and we trade him for a third or fourth to an nfc team and him and mariota battle in super bowls.

worst case we let mariota suck for the next two years he gets hurt mett comes in his last contract year he tears it up says **** you titans for not giving me a chance signs with houston and leads them to multiple playoffs.

You said you were trying to stop smoking.

Blake Bortles will win multiple Super Bowls in Jacksonville.

See I can say crazy **** about a rookie QB too

cool. i believe my stance. you dont. thats that. you dont gotta agrree with me...no one does....wont stop it from happening. id bet $ that at somepoint in the next five years mett will be a week 1 starter, not by injury to another qb, but because a coach will recognize his talent...will he get injured? possibly. will he suck?possible though i find it highly unlikely he cant have a better career than a guy like jay cutler

so you saying college stats are more important than how a qb looks in an actual nfl field w actual nfl players huh?

Yea he wasn't impressive on the NFL field either and the people that have been doing this their entire lives decided to take a QB at #2.

That's how not impressed and confident they were in him.

Heard an interview with Cam Cameron today who says that he has talked a bunch to Mett recently...says that he has talked to him about the situation he was in in San Diego with Rivers and Brees. He says that Mett is going to approach this just like Brees did and work hard to get better at his craft and be a professional about it. Cameron says he expects both Mett and Mariota to be starting in the league in several years.
