Misfits vs Motley Crue CLOSED

That isn't fair- two of my favorites here. First Album as a kid was "Shout at the Devil". As Motley as I am, gotta go with the Misfits.

Mostly Crue were just bad Van Halen wannabes

 

I dunno- Nikki Six was a genius really. He came up with the look, wrote the songs, and provided an image that lasted for many, many years. Motley Crue enjoyed more success than Van Halen in the end. The Heroin Diaries written by Nikki is one excellent read. I had no idea of the proximity of bands (for instance- Guns N Roses may never have made it without exposure due to Motley Crue- there were several on the list that owe beginnings to Motley Crue). Interesting **** with Slash bringing Nikki to hospital after overdose. Prince and his crew were even involved. Good read for sure.

 

Oh I have heard about both their books. To me though Motley Crue is just another hair metal band.



And @CRUDS why no Rush, wtf?
