If it wasn't for roids, I would have no idea MLB was still around.

Baseball to me is the only thing that even comes anywhere near competing with the NFL in terms of my devotion to the game. I love baseball. I know many don't, and I understand why, but I grew up with it, watch it every day during the season, and personally think it's the best game there is.

It'd be better if they didn't play three thousand games a season and last over half a year.

I played baseball for eight years, but I've always hated watching it.

It's the simplest game there is... I'll say that. The rules are straight forward.

I've never understood the importance of coaching in the MLB. What is there to coach? The fundamentals are there and these guys are pros. Yea, the coach decides the batting lineups, pitching rotations, and signals, but that's not complex. I guess I'm just jealous that those coaches make so much money for doing the simplest of things.

I also always get the feeling that the coaches arguing with umps is all staged. It happens way too often. Same can be said for them getting tossed. It happens multiple times a week - perfect example of how little a coach matters in the game... They'll get tossed and it has no impact.

There's very little strategy in baseball. I love football because so much goes into each game, and coaching is everything. A 10 game losing streak in baseball is the equivalent of losing one game in the NFL.

I disagree. The entire game is based on consistency

But it is also the reason you can't be a casual fan. Watching any one game is meaningless, as it is just one of 162. But following a team is a full time job.
