Yep just heard it on MNF. He started at the 46 yard line, weaved and cut and still got across the endzone line in 4.7 sec. He has to be able to run a sub4.4 with no gear and no cuts.

He is alot faster then most of us thought. :))

yeah but, "he's not vick. he wont be able to do the things he did in college. most of his runs in college were designed runs, you have to throw those out."

...when his mom is chasing him with a belt.

  4. my dad did the math and its like this 46 divided by 40 gives u 1.15 and 6 yards is 15% of a 40 yard dash and then we divided 4.7 by 1.15 and came out with like 4.086 (thats y they said what they did about the olympic sprinters) and thats not factoring in the cuts, but that was just what the math was he runs somewhere in the 4.4s - 4.3s

That was also run in full pads in OT when he had already played a full game.

People laughed when I said he was the closest thing to Michael Jordan I have ever seen, I still believe this.

Vince has "football" speed. He sure covers some ground once he gets going.

I'm glad Vince got a chance to showcase his speed. Vince doesn't hit the full out gallop often, he is usually running while looking up field at defenders, but when he sees a paydirt... he can scoot.

There was a debate last year amongst the Longhorns who was the fastest on the team.

Micheal Huff who ran a 4.35 forty
Jamaal Charles who ran a 10.1 100 meters (I think he is the fastest)
and Vince Young, who has the longest most fluid stride I have seen on a QB.
