So the Saints winning the superbowl right after Katrina hit isn't fishy to you? Or the fact that Eli goes from winning two superbowls to being a terrible QB?

Secrecy is based on compartmentalization. It's how our FBI, CIA, and all black op doings are arranged. My brother was an intelligence operative for 30 years in the Air Force and Navy. What little he told me indicates that the employees do the jobs they are assigned and that's it. They know nothing of what goes on in any other department. So to say that some idea/action cannot be kept secret with so many working on it is not true. It has to be compartmentalized, otherwise, no secrets could be kept at all.

These days, it might be more difficult, but only if we have whistle blowers who have to flee the country once they let the cat out of the bag. We had no clue we were being spied on to the extent we are by the NSA until the information was leaked. This is just one example. There are many, many more if one cares to research it.

Never underestimate how much influence the uber rich have on every aspect of our lives. We are 'small people', in the words of the BP CEO, and our purpose is to remain ignorant so that we keep the wealthy wealthy. If we woke up and saw that all we do is designed to keep those in power in power, then the world would change indeed. See all the countries on the planet at this time rebelling against the Powers that Be. They woke up. Whether they will overcome is anyone's guess, but the game is on nevertheless. jmo

Football cannot be rigged in the purest sense. You cannot force people to catch balls, break tackles. Players are not in on it, that's for sure.. so there is no true way to rig it. They could have the refs make an impact on calls, but that's as far as it goes. They cannot go overboard, or else the fans would be in on it.

So, games may be officiated inequitably, but it is not, and can't really be rigged.

There is no scenario in which you could make the 0-16 Lions beat the 2007 undefeated Patriots. You could simply not officiate a win there.

This thread is confirming my suspicions that a good 25% of the people who post here are legitimately not of sound mind.

Ummm... go for three and hopefully have 1 second left.... kick onside or squib and get a fumble/run it in for touchdown.

    OR

go for the long bomb which takes much more time/ risk injury, then onside kick, then somehow with time left go for another hail Mary....

    What sounds more logical?

Neither b/c the game is over. If you kick a FG the time will run out b/c it takes longer than 2 seconds to kick a 35 yard plus fg. The most logical thing to do if you are scared of injuries is to take a knee.

Not every official is looking at the same 22 players

The crap we've had to endure as Titans fans could not have been scripted or faked.
